Expertmaker began with a vision to make Artificial Intelligence available to the masses. We wanted to move away from AI being expensive, complex and difficult to work with. Our aim was to create a simple, easy-to-use, inexpensive and fast platform that brings the vast power of AI to a broad audience.
The platform offers a new generation of Artificial Intelligence, covering a range of different AI technologies and broad set of features for building the next generation of online services.
The results are solutions that can understand what the user wants. It is also possible to create a whole new user experience based on much more user interaction and a visual or graphical interface.
Platform
ExpertMaker provides a complete platform for creating a new generation of internet products and services. The platform consists of a server, toolkit and API that provide you with powerful technology for upgrading existing, or building new, solutions. The platform is very flexible and can handle challenges that have previously been too complex or too costly.
Expertmaker Toolkit
The Expertmaker toolkit is a toolkit you download to your PC. It is effectively a desktop solution for artificial intelligence (AI). The toolkit includes the different AI technologies, what we call solvers, and extensive functionality to create great search solutions.
With the toolkit you handle the data and knowledge for the solution. The data can come from experts, databases, meta-data, the internet and other sources. Read more about data sources here. Knowledge can come from the experts, the crowd or intelligence gathered from data. Basically the toolkit makes it possible to capture knowledge and make it searchable.
We have made the different AI technologies very simple to use and the toolkit does not require any programing skills or pre knowledge about AI. It is basically as easy to use as a spreadsheet program for simpler solutions, while still offering advanced functionality for experienced users.
The toolkit also offers a range of features that will help you train and optimize the solutions in order to bring the best possible experience to the end users. The results are solutions that are much more humanlike in their behavior than what is available online today. More.
Expertmaker AI server
ExpertMaker’s AI server is a cloud-based high-speed computational AI server for running the artificial intelligence solutions. It offers simple publishing functionality for training and previewing the solutions, making the development of the solutions both fast and dynamic. It offers very fast performance for live solutions with its distributed architecture and parallel computation hardware.
The AI server is also available as a stand-alone solution for larger clients/businesses with special needs.

The API offers a simple to use REST-based web service enabling new innovative user interfaces making the most of the added capabilities and precision.

Expertmaker Data mining
Expertmaker provides an extensive set of functions for statistical analysis and data mining that can be used to understand more about the customers. This is particularly valuable as high precision and more advanced services provide a wealth of data to be mined and analyzed.
Data
Data and information exists in many forms e.g. in data bases, in our minds, as expert knowledge, as crowd sourced information to name a few. In order to build great search solutions with really high precision and relevance you often need to capture data from many sources, transform bad quality data to better quality, sift through large amounts of unstructured texts etc.
Expertmaker toolkit can work with all kinds of data sources. There are ways to handle most problems depending on what you want to achieve. The toolkit has extensive functionality for extracting, managing, transforming, manipulating and analyzing data. In order to make it easy the toolkit also offers several ways to visualize the data. In terms of data quality, in normal circumstances, bad quality data means bad results. However if you can combine, transform, extract and manipulate data as well as add training and teaching you can actually do a lot to create great solutions. More.
Example on typical solution
A typical example is that you have access to a database with some factual data but the really interesting data only exist in the form of textual descriptions. In that case you can import the database into the toolkit and then use the text classifier to extract the information from the textual descriptions.
